It's once again time for me to begin a new Daily Grind. I kind of messed up and did not create a February one, as I should of. But we were so late in January when we started it, I had decided that we would just try and get this back to a monthly schedule as planned with Administrators.
What is the Daily Grind?
The Daily grind has been set up for those who would like to get together with others who understand their pain and to make some friends on the internet. We try to keep this one thread very lite and easy conversation. This may seem boring for some and others may be interested in more substantial conversations. If anyone would like to talk about more serious topics and your not sure how to go about starting your new thread, them please ask me and I will be more than happy to either explain it for you or set one up for your topic. There is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to share in more stimulating conversations and I Know I will join you and participate too, but we are just keeping this particular conversation for lite and east visiting with a more support group atmosphere.
EVERYONE IS SAFE & WELCOME HERE! So come on in and join us any time you feel like it.
If you have any questions, please feel free to post them or send me a private message and I'll do all I can to help you.
Have a wonderful day Betty

Betty, thanks for the article on Nabilone (which is another name for Marinol). Also thanks for continuing the Daily Grind. I don't know where I'd be today without the support that I continue to find here on this board.
I forgot to add that "Sativex" which is already a legal drug that can be prescribed in Canada has a better track record for treating the symptoms of FM and MS, since it contains many more derivatives of marijuara than Nabilone or Marinol. Nabilone and Marinol each contain just one derivative, namely THC.
Hey everyone - hope you all have a peaceful day, you all just popped into my head .. so please take care ..
I have to make a run to Walgreens before any storm does show up .. after my early afternoon routine .. washed my hair , cleaned myself up, made the dogs nervous .. giggle .. they are pushing for an early lunch, I think they already jumped ahead as far as daylight savings .. giggle ..
Had to actually use the blow dryer , but not all the way , I like it wavy & curly .. but it is close to feeding time , so that means a walk before they eat ...
I think I will have some chicken broth for lunch myself .. on a cold day it is great .. made a huge salad last night , mmmmm .. so tonite I will make a small steak w/rice and salad ...
I am so happy that I linked the two sites , my PC has all the music and pics .. just not sure what other files y'all have access to .. as I allowed just you all to have access to see them until I get them set up on a page ..
I'm really fatigued today, guess yesterday's business wore me down. I've slept on & off most of the day. I am feeling better now, but am going to try and get a good nights rest tonight. I hope to be feeling better tomorrow.
I hope you all are doing fine and take care of your selves. I'm thinking of you and looking forward to our next live chat.
Hugs Betty

Wintery greetings All, Hope you have had a good low pain day. Been about normal for me. I had a very frustrating trip to walmart earlier. People are so rude, it really gets under my skin sometimes. At least it was a short trip. Anyway, nite all. Chuck
Good a.m. to ya's ! We got 6 inches overnight, let's hope that is it .. giggle .. the snow is still coming down over the mountaintops and northeast of us .. so I hope it stays there ..
It is 3:41 a.m. , and I couldn't sleep , headache , think I am taking in too much salt .. hope we all can connect today , that would be nice ..
and I am ready for Sunday's chat .. so I will sit and drink my coffee and when the sun , if the sun, breaks around 7 , I will be out shoveling off the snow .. and layong down salt ..
Went yesterday, last minute supllies, just in case , and have plenty of dvd's , like Talladega Nights , Mask of Zorro, and "Cars", my fav ..
So i can plop them in on TV and just relax ..
Here is to as pain free a day as possible, for both the mind and body and spirit .. luv ya's - A
it's a cold AM again in Metro DC (29 degrees F) ... got up early to take the family SUV to the dealer to get it checked out. I gotta go argue with the Toyota dealer about why my tires ... after 10 K miles they're almost bald ... looks like Audrey is going to drive the Ford Ranger today ... she sort of thinks that people see her as a "mountain woman" when she's driving the truck.
Adrian, your surroundings sound so beautiful ... reminds me a some sort of Bogart movie (like Treasure of Sierra Madre) but with snow. Sounds really cool to be snowed in with all of your supplies and movies to watch ... I'm sort of jealous ... wish I could chill out right now but I gotta roll soon. I've only been to 42 of the 50 states and lived (and worked in a few) but I've never been to New Mexico. From what I know, it sounds very unique (as in there's no other state like it).
Betty, I hope that that your low pain continues and I look forward to our weekly group chat.
Chuck, I hate shopping ... really hate it so much that I avoid "brick and mortar" stores with a passion. I let my fingers do the shopping on-line. Wally World (Walmarts) has an on-line store? ... or don't they? ... Personally, I can't handle being pushed around through tight spaces at large busy stores.
Good morning all, It's a balmy 26.5 degress here in southern ky, no snow yet. i woke for the second time at 7, the first time was at 4am and decided that was just too early to rise. After morning meds my pain level is down some to about 7 about as good as it gets in cold weather most of the time. Adrian, 6 inches of snow would close down our little mountain community. Our road dept doesn't usually even start til the weather is over. not to mention the folks CANNOT drive in winter weather and can't figure that just because one has a four wheel drive does NOT mean one can drive 70 - 80 in snowy(winter) conditions. So, it usually keeps me at home out of self preservation. Mark, The "brick and mortar" stores get on my nerves really bad too any more and walmart does have an online store but, they don't sell food stuffs online yet. To me that would be really handy. I worked with the public for so long(cell phone sales) and it never bothered me now, it gets on my nerves really bad. Plus, in our little town the first ten days of the month are the worst. Every thing is crowded. I do what I can on line but, some stuff requires venturing out among the unfriendly masses. Betty, hope you got some much needed rest and feel somewhat better. Sometime we just get wore down and need to re-charge the batteries a little. Looking forward to sunday chuck
Update ::::::: It's is continuing to snow, started shortly after walking the dogs .. giggle .. and it may continue on and off the remainder of the day, but Mark & Chuck, believe it or not the temps are around the same , as we are @ 22 dgs. ...
Betty must have out done herself, I pm'd and she hasn't responded .. hope and pray she is just resting .. and am hoping she is able to just drop a line or two , we would be okay with that ?
Anyway , Chuck, the road dept. was out this a.m. , they put down dirt as they are not liking the salt .. it really messes up the cars , but doesn't ruin your paint job either .. I am just glad I took the time to detail (polish/protectant) when it ws warmer/sunnier weather ...
Andthe answer is yes .. giggle .. this state is awesome as for the scenery , especially when it is 3 am and the snow glistens from the parking lot lights , awesome , almost eery .. the air is so crisp and you really don't feel cold at all .. I just take deep breathes of the cool air , refreshing from the dry heat of being indoors ...
I would go out and drive the mountains, but not fun by myself as it used to be .. summertime I can roll the soft top windows up and enjoy ..
Kinda like it here really, just that it makes me achey , if I can just find a way to get used to the aches I would probably stay put .. as I have pics of some of the area now on my PC, I will add them to my messenger .. you'll see some nice shots ...
Anyways, enjoy your day no matter how cold, no matter how hard it may be , at least we are alive ... ttyl .. adrian
funny, i just wrote a nice post and it said i have to wait for it to be processed as i used a trgger word ? i wish i knew what the trigger words were so i would avoid using them ..
now the moment is lost, oh well, maybe it was messenger ?
