I had a meeting with managment and in order to keep the daily grind from getting to be too long, we have decided to reopen a new "Daily Grind" Thread each month. I'm hoping you all will be able to find us, Take Care and I'll see you all in the morning.

HI - my caps lock was on , and that is i couldn't get in .. duh ? lol ..
Well, we had up to the fifties and sunny the past few days , now it is cloudy , frezzing and snow showers are expected .. the weather is just like a woman , cannot or switches it's mind , snap, just like that ...
How is everyone else doin' this day .. I will be around , just gotta run to the drug store for a script, of course, and pick up some milk and water , this way if the snow showers get serious , i will have stuff in the condo ..
Chuck, i understand now, you will be watching the grandkids while your daughter works ?
Mark - you must follow your gut , there are always three sides to a story, yours, hers and the truth .. I agree that a hostile or tensionful relationship would be more harmful in the long run. It was kind of you to share your experiences about yourchildhood, and yes, it is not a good thing to have kids in a hostile environment ..
I hope it works out well for you and your family, cause if your wife is not with you , how can you work or live together happily .. and what i mean by with you, is that she is not understanding your changes .. 9/11 was very traumatic for alot of people. Being involved of the clean-up or whatever is painful in itself ... plus your injuries and migraines alone are painful .. i hope you both find peace ..
Betty - glad y'all started this new thread, hopefully we all can continue conversing with each other , i love it here ... and you guys are the best ..
Talk wih you all soon , eh ? I guess I am the only one up early today .. lol .. so I will sip my hot coffee and go check on my other sites .. a

Hi everyone, Thanks, Betty, for taking ownership of this. I know people really appreciate being able to have somewhere to check in. Yesterday was my 26th birthday.. for the most part, it was a good day. We went out to dinner at a nice restaurant with some friends.. then I came home and crashed. The weather has been ridiculous here in SF, rainy and gross, which has contributed to my pain levels. I've been really busy lately, and I'm sorry for not being around more. I am, however, brewing up a blog in my head that I think will be really good... it's about acceptance and trying to live a life regardless of your health issues - these are things that I have really been involved with lately. I hope that it will help those of you who are on the road to accepting your illnesses.
Good "late" Morning All, We've high temps in the upper 20's, just peeked out the window and it's snowing like crazy! I think the weather had flipped this year. I don't do well in the cold and damp, really wakes up the arthritis. Adrian, no grandkids for me! We're just providing transportation to the new job til she can get her another vehicle. My wife and I drive her in a couple mornings a week and my son does the other days. Just, with the weather here in the hills being like it has been, I don't like them to drive alone. Stacy, weather has just been crazy here too. Cold and damp is just killing me. Happy 26th!! Mark, I agree with Adrian you gotta follow your gut and see where that takes you. Hopefully I'll get back later, Chuck
I'm up at a much earlier hour for me. It's only 9:30am, instead of noon or 11. LOl The temps are very low here, got down into the teens last night, I expected to wake up to more snow. Our weather station alarm went off last evening (it does that with pressure changes) as if I need some machine to tell me when my pain is going to raise. LOL It's bright and sunny out there, but it's burrrr cold. I don't have much to do today, husbands sleeping, as he's on the all night shift. I didn't sleep as well last night, kind of got spooked and began hearing every noise, you know how it goes. ((((Giggle)))) My sister called this morning and mom & she are doing great. They live together and really get along well. It's so nice to have her live with mom, other than mom having to live alone. I'm happy the like their arrangement. Mom found out she was diabetic a couple years ago, so she and my sister went on diets and they both are really looking great. I can tell the both feel better too. My sister lost like 75#, but mom won't tell us how much she's lost, but I can look at her and see it's alot. Moms such a private lady, she won't share her weight, how much momey she has in the bank or anything else. LOL If we ask her a question she feels is private, she says "None of your Damb buissness" My brother asks her dumb questions just to tease her and she repeats the same every time. I love my mommy!
Adrian; I so happy max is doing better, gosh It can get scarry if your little boy gets sick. When you mentioned you got the dogs in the Divorce, I thought to myself, WOW, that would be a huge fight between the two of us. LOL I'm glad to hear your weather is getting warmer, not so much here.
Stacy; Great to hear from you dear. Hows your life going? The weather sound's aweful. Happy 26th, my son turned 21 a couple weeks ago. He and his friends all flew into Vegas and had a great time for the weekend. I'm glad you got to go out for a nice dinner and enjoy some friends. thank you for stopping by to visit us.
Chuck; My friend. I sure hope the white stuff does not burden you too much. I bet it was nice to have your daughter at home, but I'm sure she's feeling better about finding a new job. I certainly with her good luck with her new job. You better grab the heat pad and lay down to rest your bones. I never knew cold weather could cause so many problems for us. Think Spring!
Mark; I hope your doing well today & hope you found us this am too. I sent you a message last night on the mess service here, hope you got it. Take Care of yourself.
Well, I better go get a couple things done, I've got a couple cups of Jo in me and now I think I might make. Meds working helps too.
Talk to you all later and hope all is well Betty

Well, it looks like I cracked the code needed to get back into the "Daily Grind" (just kidding). I just got back from two doctors appointments in 2 different Maryland counties and I'm completely beat. My therapist weighs in heavy on the side of what Chuck and Adrian have said about my wishes to leave the USA, at least on a trial basis ... I'll check back later.
Well, welcome back from the beyond. Glad to hear your doctors are in support of your decision to move too. That must feel good. Will you find new doctors there? and start all over, or do your doctors refere you to someone. I just don't know how that would work. I'm sure you already have all that handled though.
Were you getting that white screen with the 802 server is down or something like that???I had to deal with it all day yesterday and could not get through until late last evening.
It is very wearing to go to one doctor apt, let alone 2, so I can imagine how tired you must feel. Hope you get some rest and I'll see you after bit.
Take Care Betty

Hi Adrian, Nice to meet you! Thanks, Betty, for the introduction..
Betty gave you the link to my latest SharePost, but you can also get to my profile an see all of my SharePosts in the link below.
The weather is even worse this afternoon than it was this morning- UGH! It makes you just want to stay in and do nothing except curl up with a blanket & heating pad.
Anyway, I better get back to the daily grind (lol), but I'll try and check in tomorrow! I have a doctor appointment in the morning, and then I'll be back home in the late afternoon.

oh , really, i see that Mark found it .. lol .. and i remember being told , "How come you always have a hard time finding this forum?" .. well, nah nah to you , see i found it first .. lol ..
Mark, just joking .. and am glad your PCP's feel you are making a good decision, it is nice that you are feeling better support now .. and am also glad that you are saying and sounding more positive emotions ..
I would ave made my avatar a jokester, but this one looked like me a little and now that i looked at it real close , it looks like i have a jokster beside me, it is my shadow ..
I just listened , for the millionth time, Father & Son , by Cat Stevens .. and also "Moonshadow" , i can't help getting the chills , i am an oldie but not moldie as some of these songs have new meaning for me today as they did in the '70's ..
can we do links here ? i have one i love by Oleta Adams, who is just fabulous ..
I am not used to posting links here .. someone show me ... please ?

Betty - i see what you mean about your link .. it came up to Stacys' share posts .. i use the home page to sign in and then go to the forums thru Chronic Pain link on the left of the page .. so i will just keep doing it that way .. which is the original way you taught me .. i wish we were all night owls sometimes , as i sometimes cannot really get a good nights sleep and usually that is because my mind just won't stop thinking ..
i don't want to have to up my xanax , which i can, but i just cut back so i have more energy , very little more .. lol .. and would love to chat here .. i will just add to my shareposts , and transfer them here , as i did once before on the last Grind thread .. now how come i was able to copy and paste that and i cannot figure out how to add a link .. lol .. i am so silly, i crack myself up ...

what a coincidence or what? ... I just bought a Cat Stevens CD (from Amazon), which has "Father and Son," "Moonshadow," "Wild World," etc. on it .. my vinyl copy was way too scratched up to listen to anymore.
