Well, here we are, it's another day gone by and getting ready for beddy by time.

It was a beautiful day here in Gothlam city, made it clear to 65*, no wind and definately no snow. Although we are supposed to have temps in the mid 70's tomorrow, Rod said the weather guy said the snow level was coming back down to 1,000 ft level on Monday. Ugh! I hope he's wrong.

I got dressed today and spent a few hours walking the dogs around the property, long enough they were panting and not driving Rod & I nuts running around the house tonight, cuz they normally do that after a day stuck in the house with me.
The sunshine felt wonderful and we really enjoyed it. It makes me feel guilty saying when some of you guys did not have the enjoyment your selves.
Thunder showers are really rare around here and we've went through one a few years back when we were on vacation in central oregon. We stoood outside watching it in the rain, as it was kind of cool to us. We stayed partially under cover, as I don't know that its a good idea to be right out in it, but we did think it was cool.

Matt called and is on his way here, he's in town and coming up the mountain. I'm always happy to hear he made it into town and everything went well on the trip.

Adrian; How nice, you've contacted some old friends. I bet your having a nice time reminecing over old times. I'm glad your going shopping with your friend too. It will be good to get out and dome something, maybe get a bite to eat and walk around wally world. I hope you enjoy your self.

Chuck; Sounds like your day was busy and you got to visit with your brother today. Sorry about the pharmacy thing, your probably kicking your self in the butt for forgetting, but that may hurt too bad. (((((Smile)))) I know what you mean about the kids, I'm so excited to see them, but I always know when it's time for themto head home. He's only here for the weekend and I've rested up for his home coming, so I can make him breakfast, help do his laundry and stay up to visit with him. He's brining SICKO the movie for us to watch, so I'll probably be irritated with our health care concerns.

Mark; I hope you enjoy your weekend with family home. Get your bike out again and enjoy your park. It really looks like fun.

Good night friends, sleep well and get your rest
Take Care & Hugs
Betty

Kudos !!! I got about an inch of snow overnight , it will be gone after the sun rises fully , around 50 degs . and normal .. giggle .. heard the slushing of passing cars around the usual 1 pm peepee time .. giggle and just got back into bed snuggled up and slept away til my daughter woke us up at 5 a.m. ...

Ahhh , going in for second cup of coffee and do some house work , the usual weekend routine ... as I reconnect with former classmates more and more , I am remminded of my "self" ... and it is weird, how they remember me .. but good that they saw me in the same light ..

I reconnected two former classmates AND neighbors , we grew up in the same neighborhood in Jersey .. giggle .. like we never skipped a beat .. have a great day y'all .. check in later on ... Adrian

Happy Saturday all,

it's about 10 AM here in the Maryland hills and it's still Spring (68 degrees) BUT Chuck, you were right about me getting a heavy thunderstorm last night ... maybe I'll also get the storm that you had mentioned, Adrian.

Well, time for meds for breakfast - LOL

See You All Later,

Mark

Good Day friends

It is a georgous day here in Wa state. It was 85* in Portland today, but we are a bit cooler here, so we were somewhere around 76*. I'm pretty sore & pain was up this am from my long walk yesterday, but I've taken my meds and been able to get a few things done still today, so all is well and it's been an enjoyable day.

My Helen ran into troubles with her tv/sat dish controls and some how turned the receiver off and could not get her tv working again. I tried to talk her through it on the phone, but she has troubles and she could not get a family member (6 live on the same block with her) to come over and help her fix it (takes about 3 minutes). She wanted to watch the masters today, so I jumped in the car and drove down to her house to get her fixed again. She was all upset about me having to drive 25 miles to do it for her and mad at her family. I gave her some love & a hug and told her they were missing out on getting to do something kind for another person and I was happy to get her working again. I don't want her to feel like a burden or anything like that.
I know what it's like when your stuck at home and nothing to do, she does not have the internet or any of the other activities that I have and she only has the tv. She's so crippled up with RA, she just cannot do very many things. I hate her to be without her tv.

I got to open my moon roof for the first time this year and my poodle rode with me, we let the fresh air blow through and it was a nice day for a littel drive anyhow.

I hope all of you had a wonderful day and are enjoying your weekend.
I'll talk to ya all tomorrow and take care of your selves.

In my thoughts & prayers
Betty

Good Day All,

yea, it seems like you folks out west have been sending your bad weather out to Chuck and myself ... LOL ... well, I can honestly say that I took full advantage of the beautiful Spring days when they were here (in Maryland) ... I just got back from errands ... one of them was to get a new (and stronger) eyeglass Rx filled ... now, I feel like a need a nap before dinner.

Have a great afternoon!

Hello & Good Afternoon friends

It's been a very nice day here in WA State. I got up early and did my am routine of prayers & devotions for Sunday, then my home ministry lady came and said some prayers and brought me communion. So I had a very nice Sunday am and was feeling about a 4 pain level, so not too bad.

Rod took off early to run his 20miles for his marathon training program, he's only got 3 weeks left, so that's his last long run and he'll be tapering off over the next 3 weeks in preparation for his big day.

Matt has been home, but stayed at a friends house last night, as they had a BbQ for his soft ball team and I believe it turned into a party, so I'm really thankful that he just stays put, when they have had anything to drink.
He came home this am and visited with his dad & I most of the day and waiting till his girlfriend to be done with her obligation in town, so that was nice and we all enjoyed being together.

My home ministry lady also asked me to become one of the Rosary Makers. A few years back when I was hunting for pain mgt sites and all. I had found some groups that did quilting, beading and some other types of crafts. They use it as a way to concentrate on something besides the pain & Normally do the crafts for a good cause or something like that. At the time I had looked into Rosary Making kits and had really wanted to try it, but back them we were really struggling to get used to me not working, so I kind of put it aside for later or maybe never. This ladies group pays for each persons kits with the proper tooks and stuff to make the Rosaries. So I was really excited to tell her yes! I would love to make rosaries for the group to give to fist holy communion kids and different people & groups in our parish. So anyway, that's my new good news. I'm excited to get started learning and doing my own. Just my personal exciting news Wink

It's 65* again here today and the sun is out, there are some clouds and the weather man thinks it's going to cloud up and rain tonight and then the crazy snow level is to come down to 1,000 feet, but I'm hoping we won't have much moisture and in turn very little to no snow. We've all had our fill this year and my heart for one is moving onto spring.

I hope you all had a nice Sunday with family or enjoying a walk or maybe just some rest. I'm going to head out for a walk around the place and then maybe clip up one of our other messy dogs.
Rods out feeding the critters and doing a few chores, he rested most of the afternoon and I hope he will rest this evening too. 22 miles in one day is a very long run and I think he needs to concentrate on letting his body rest too. He seems to be really sleeping at night and his snoring has been a bit much, but his normal sleeping habit are so bad, that I don't dare bother him and make him turn over or something, I'm just happy he's sleeping better. I may have to get me some ear plugs though. lol

I'll check back with ya all later
Big Hugs & warm thoughts
Betty

Morning all - I woke up earlier than expected and am happy that I did .. we had our walks and ate , working on my 2nd cup of coffee and strummed a bit on the guitar , as I didn't want to play the real deal on the stereo so early .. I am re-learning a few of my Dylan songs , Cat Stevens (this am) and others .. it's quite relaxing , but I have to keep the nails short as they tend to grow easily ..

I wil be out today, getting a gift card for the upstairs newborn, picking up some food items and will head to my bros place to see if my hardtop (or anything for that matter) is still in the yard ..

Very disappointed as usual that my needs , once again are not a priority .. as he was suppose to be back a few months ago in order to help with the top, but you all know this story already ..

I am doing okay, pain seems to be hangin' in around an 8 , migraines (?) , but definately sinus headaches .. yuck ..

Well, I am hoping it to be a nicer day today high in the 70's and sun, sun, sun .. yipee .. tomorrow as high as 80 , but windy, eh , I will take it ...

So , I hope y'all write and tell .. how your day was, is and what you did .. love to all !

Morning All,

today is just ANOTHER MANIC Monday (wishing it were a Sunday) ... I have to take Melissa out of school soon to go to her Doctor ... involves X-Rays (and whatever else comes next), since she has been experiencing some serious direct (or side) effects of the Lyme Disease.

Up until this latest event, things were cool and I was even working up to do the mountain bike stunts shown here on this attached link to YouTube. HaHaHa ... just kidding!

Good Morning All,
Moving kinda slow here in the mountains, it's about 30 degrees outside and Heidi takes forever to do her business! I don't have to use my cane very often in the house but, today is one of those days.
I'm up to 'bout a nine even with bt meds. So I won't be doing alot of movin a lot today.
Glad you guys in the west are enjoying moderate weather getting out and having some fun.
I'll check back a lil later.
Enjoy your shopping Arian. Hope Melissa's md trip
isn't too traumatic. Somedays riding 20 miles is hard for nevermind running 20 miles!!
Have a great day all.
Chuck

Hi Chuck - common sense , knowing when to use the ane .. I typically don't use indoors as, if I am tilting or off balance, I have things to hold onto .. advebtured out last evening however without it .. just wanted to see how bad I am when walking w/o cane .. actually swayed abit, and lost balance , as long as I go slowly I am okay ..

An I also hope that Melissa does okay .. it's hard being young, let alone young and ill ..

Have as good a day as you want it to be .. and I missed Betty so, Good Morning Miss Betty and talk with you later ... adrian
