Good Mornin pain Friends

It's another damp, grey, dreary morning here in the PNW. It's not pouring rain out there, so hopefully this cloud cover will drift away so MR. Sun can shine. It's supposed to be clearing up here soon and Mr Weather mentioned some 70* temps Eeker That works for me.

My dentist apt went smooth and I do have one molar we've been watching and I really need a crown on the tooth, last time I checked, my dental ins would only pay a small portion, so I declined at the time. Since them, our ins has changed and when I had the ins gal check for me, they pay 100 percent of a crown, so I'm in luck and very happy that I can finally get this tooth fixed, before it needs a root canal too boot or abcesses and adds a great deal of pain to my already painful enough life. So this is good news.

I stopped in to check on Helen after the dentist, cleaned up her kitchen & made a grocery list. I'm going down and picking up her groceries on my way to her house and I have to stop a the PO and mail something for her. So it should be an easy afternoon for me at Helen's house.

Mark! I thank you for the offer of the video, but Rod has already agreed that it would be fine for me to go ahead, I'm just trying to figure out and ask as many questions as I can. The gentleman I'm talking too, does not seem to know alot of the questions I have, I just want to go into this with my eyes wide open and not find out that I cannot use my puter at a motel, coffee shop or where ever, cuz Hughes net does not support me as my isp and what my options are. I think it's time for me to call my brother the geek in to help me figure it all out. I still appreciate the link to people pc, just incase I need to have them for trips. Luckily, I have their current c/d for an installation. I picked it up when we were shopping at xmas. Chuck Thank you too for the info. Matt had asked me about the router thing too. If I understand you correctly, I should be able to have the desktop hooked to the satellite and then I can hook up a router to the system and my laptop with wireless capabilities will work any where in the house I'd like? Matt's too?
So you both have brought up good points & possibilities for me to continue my searching into this. Thanks much.

Adrian; I really feel for you friend. I was having a horrible bout of disgruntled weather fever over all our snow and cold just a few weeks ago. It is distressing and this winter has just went on way too long. It seems we get a tease of nicer weather for a couple of days, but then we switch back to the cold & yuk again. We cannot quite get passed this past winter and boy has it worn on us all. I imagine that there are many pain patients all over the us feeling the weight of the winter. Hope it gets better soon honey. I hear ya!

Well, I better get a couple of things done and get dressed for town. It would be nice to get home earlier today.

Hugs
Betty

Well, it's about 12:30 AM in the wooded hills of Maryland and I'm gonna just call it a day.

I've been feeling just plain tired today AND I've been feeling that way all week, so far.

I hope that everyone's level of pain goes down enough to let them get a good night's sleep.

Good Mornin guys & gal

I went ahead and slept in with no guilt this am. I was pretty busy on Tuesday & Wednesday, with the dentist, Helens house both days and got her shopping done & also made copies of her tax paperwork and mailed to her tax guy.
I tried to tell her that some one in her family should take care of this for her, but for some odd reason she just refused, so all I did was send the dude the materials he needs to do them. I guess we'll see what happens next.

Today Is my day to recover from the business and so I'm not going to do much at all. Matt is coming home for the weekend tomorrow, so I will be doing some stuff over the weekend too. Rod had boweling last night and I spent the evening going over comsumer reports of Hughesnet and boy was that a mistake. I'm once again very hesitant to go forward with my isp choices. My dial up is at least a very stable signal and I don't have to deal with tech support in a foreign country or have to be weary of downloads so I don't go over my capascity for the 24 hr period and they reduce me to dial up speeds for going over. It just sounds pretty bleak and I was really discouraged. I checked with my Geek Brother and he gave me the website to check it out http://www.dslreports.com/reviews/1678 I'm just wondering if the site is only for people who are complaining, but I'd like to see if anyone is satisfied?

Well, I will check in later
I heard mr Weather say 69* Friday 75 Eeker saturday and another 69 on Sunday. So although today is rainy & cloudy, the horizon is possibly bring Mr. Sunshine.

Hugs
Betty

Well Good afternoon

For some reason our big screen tv is not working today, it's been giving us some trouble for several months, but I was always able to get it working again, so did not really think much about it. I think this time its finally given up and we are going to have to break down and get a new television for the family room. It's always something Roll Eyes

I'm really hoping that the slow state of the grind today, is becuase you all are out having a wonderful time in the sunshine or are having a nice day with family or a friend. Smiler

Mark your bike ride really sounds like a great time. Was it Rock Creek park you were riding in? I'm really glad to think that despite the city's everyone has a chance to get into the out doors and enjoy some nature. it's good for the heart and soul.

Talk to ya after bit. I'm still doing some investigation and just having a very nice lite day. Glad to not have any plans at all

Hugs
Betty

ps; Thanks for the picture, glad your a responsible rider, you look great in your helmet. Thanks for sharing friend

Good morning Chuck - Sorry about your wife, I had that for a week and amm still expelling from my chest .. I took daytime Tylenol cough and decongestion med., no alcohol so it wouldn't conflict with my meds .. and I took it twice daily , in the early prenoon at lunch and bedtime .. helped alot ...

We had a touch of snow yesterday a.m. and frost , giggle, and his a.m. was up at 4 .. we are suppose to get T-Storms , but who knows ..

I am sooo looking forward to being able to sit outside again, and sip my java, hear the sparrows and hang my hummingbird feeder again ..

I talked with Betty and this weather we are having kinda swooped just past her and down to us and up to the northeast ..

Jealous , y'all get to be outside , walking, running errands, cycling .. I am sure we will eventually warm up , giggle ..

Anyway, hope you enjoy and your wife gets better .. adrian

Good Mornin Friends

It's a beautiful blue skye morning here int he PNW. It's just past noon and 65*. I think when I'm done, I'm gonna get dressed and take the dogs out to walk around the property. We have 3 acres here, it's not very big, but be enough for me to get out and wander around and look at the tree"s, shrubs, etc.

Matt's coming home some time today and I'm looking forward to see my son. I hope we get to see his girlfriend too, as she's coming home with him.

It's supposed to be a very nice weekend and I'm going to try and enjoy it.

Sorry to hear about your wife Chuck, that's a nasty bug going around and seems to really settle in ones chest. Glad to hear you & Heidi are going to make good of the sunshine too.

Adrian; I really hope your weather shows up and you can get some sunshine. I guess if your up in the mountains it takes a while. Take care and stay warm.

Mark; I hope your enjoying some more sun today. It's the weekend and the fam will be home. I also hope melissa is feeling better today too.

Take Care guys, I'll be in & out
Hugs
Betty

Good evening - Well, it was beautiful this morning .. 50 degs, sunny, and no wind .. but not for long ... left about 11/11:30 , I went out to shop for food and walgreens , of course .. giggle .. get home around 1:15 pm and as I am sitting down to have my lunch .. what do I see , white dots , i shook my head and blinked my eyes, thought maybe it was my ON , so I go to the door and it was blowing crazy, the temp dropped 25 degs. and it was snowing !

I thought OMG .. what the frig ? Where is that global warming everyone's been talking about .. giggle .. I am doomed to a perpetual winter .. honestly , I think we are going to get about one or two months of warmer weather w/rain and right back intoo winter .. oh my ..

Anyway, received a message from another classmate of mine .. she usesd to be one of my dearest friends and we have been catching up ..

I may ask if they want to IM as we have been going back and forth ... giggle .. remembering the stunts we pulled in school .. mind you these are people I was in grade school thru high school with .. awesome ..

Anywho, I now am stiff , had to turn on the heat and all I can do is pray, seems they are not working ? Oh well, you cannot have everything you want , but a little natural sunshine and heat would be nice .. giggle ..

Sorry I haven't been chatting it up, but I have been busy bdugeting .. I am now into the second month and should now be able to save 200 a month .. awesome right ?

I will shortly begin to add to the amount that gets autodrafted into my savings , now called , the moving fund ... so I apologize for not being around, and on Im ..

My appt. comes up with the MS Center at the end of the month, so next week it is a full blood test , and record retreiving week with one break , I was asked to join the very first freind I made here in Santa Fe and an aquaintence to shop for Laptops .. so I am pushing for a Dell system w/Vista , and we'll see what the other person says .. Wally World here we come , as they now sell the Dell's and/or Staples ... both really for pricing ..

So, I will have a busy week , and will check in , of course to see how y'all are doing ..

Okay, check in before bedtime .. adrian

Greetings All,
Hope you've had a wonderous day. We some had some powerfull
thunderstorms come through this afternoon must have been a heck
of a pressure change. i figured out after my knees and ankles spiked
up to about a 9.5 that I forgotten to call my bt meds. I was getting
ready to make the call when my bro and his wife rang the bell, Heidi gets
excited when we have company and I forgot the pharmacy til too late.
Betty, I'm glad you son gets to come visit. Right now I miss having
my days and time to my self that prolly sounds wierd but, i thought I had them raised. This to shall pass I guess. Hope you enjoy your weekend.
Adrian, hope you're surviving the frozen south west LOL.
If the laptops are anything like the desktops the dell is cool.
I have my eye in a dell laptop my self, I just have to fit it into
the budget LOL.
Mark, I was warm here today too. Really muggy this morning.
You'll prolly get some of the storm action we had earlier.
It was pretty noisy around here for a while. I just checked
the forecast and we have snow showers for tomorrow nite with
a 30 degree temp drop. We'll see.
Gppf night all
Chuck
