Good Evening pain friends

I had a fairly busy day, got all my clothes ironed and packed for the weekend.
Rods packed & loaded, so I have to meet him tomorrow afternoon at his parents in town, we'll leave three of our dogs with grandma & grandpa and I'm taking my baby poodle girl with me. So I'll stop in briefly in the morning and say good day, but will have to wait till we are settled at the motel to check back in.

I hope you all had a very nice day, got a little sun and have a low/no pain weekend ahead of us all.

Hi Friend Betty,

I hope that you get to enjoy all of the goodies that are offered at your hotel ... I know that you said that they have high-speed internet but do they also have jacuzis and/or hot tubs? ... if they do, you should take full advantage of having access to them ... have a great getaway!

Good Morning pain friends

It's a little cloudy here this am, but I'm really hoping it will burn off soon. I'm all ready, just have to take a couple of things out to the car, get dressed and head to town.
Rod packed the heavy stuff early this am, before he left for work. It's nearly noon and I have to drink another cup o Java and then I should be in good or better shape. Fortunately for me, my pain is only around a 4 this am. I went to bed early, so I could get some sleep and woohoo, I slept!

Yes Mark my friend, we have a hot tub, indoor pool and an exercise room. Rod always makes sure we have all these things included, as he likes to use them too. I'm a little nervous about my being able to use the wireless, I've not done it by myself, but I brought my manual anyway, just in case. Next week we're going to Seattle for Mothers day, so I should have it down by then.

Normally once I survive the drive to our destination, I have to lay down for a bit, before I can do much of anything else. But I think I may need a hot tub right away, it does make my back feel better and then I'll set my puter up.

Well anyway, Friends, I hope to see you all this afternoon/evening and I also hope you all have a wonderful day.

Hello & Good Evening pain friends

We made it to Eugene Oregon, I got my wireless up & running in no time, just took me a bit to figure it out and all is well and I'm crusing in speedy time.

Rod & I took a nice long walk on the OSU Campus walking trails and near the park. it's really nice here and the weather man says 70-75* tomorrow and monday, so I'm really happy about that. I brought my baby poodle girl with me and she is doing just fine and actually proving to be a nice little traveler, as long as her mommie does not step more than 2 feet from her. giggle

We ordered a pizza & pasta delivered from Pizza Hut, Rod has to load up on pasta carbs for his race, so he even made some up to eat before the race in the am. He went for a swim and said the pool is freezing, so I'm really glad I decided to stay at the room and rest on my heating pad. I'll wait till tomorrow for the hot tub, but I'm not going in a crazy cold pool, cold means lotsa pain for me, so NO WAY!

I'm getting ready for bed and I'll check back in with you guys in the am. I hope you all had a very nice day and your doing just great.

Hi Bev,

my lungs are getting better with the nebulizer treatments ... thanks for asking ... yesterday was sunny and near 80 degrees F, so I spent a lot of time outside getting healthier ... I hope to do more of the same today.

Good Sunny mornin pain friends

I'm up & atem pretty early. I wanted to visit with Rod before he left for the stat of the race at 7am. We had a rough night sleep/non sleep I should say. I think we both were a combo of nervous & excited for the day, not to mention the bed was hard as a rock and my hips are killing me this am lolololol the rest of my body feels pretty good after my hot shower, so I'm doing really well considering. SMile

I've got to get, I'm going to walk down the street and stand at the corner to see & take pictures when Rod runs by.

I'll be back in a bit though

Hi group !

The weather we won't talk about, still fluctuating ..

I do have news news about moving .. and it is good .. I am leaving NM before August .. I will be going to my Moms' in Naples .. as I it was too stressful to chosse a place on-line ..

My brother is back and says he and one of his co-workers are goin to laod and rive .. they will tow on a car carrier the Jeep .. he and my baby bro in Jersey will pay this guy for driving .. and loading and unloading ..

I will possibly (hope) to have my Mom come to help pack .. I will fly back with her and they will take the dogs in the Jeep and promise they will be careful ..

It is amazing how my anxiety is so high , I am happy, but I am like split up with this overwhelming feeling .. it is amazing .. I have had to return to adding a lexapro back into the mix as ,y mind is sometimes so up and thinking all these strange thoughts and then , whoosh, I come down hard ..

SO I am sorry that I have been off here as trying to gain control of my anxiety ..

Looks like mid-July is the time .. and I am happy ...

I will always keep you guys up to date , and am just trying to stop this ever flowing thoughts from hindering me from moving forward .. I am going to see my therapist about why this happens ..

So today I cleaned up and found moving truck w/hauler and airflights and it is just hard to believe it is going to happen ...

I love you guys , for always being kind to me .. I always want the very best for you all .. and hope I can clear up this anxiety so I can move on without getting so fatigued ...

You are a great group and I will never lose touch as I hook up in Naples to comcast, which is the same carrier here .. so I don't have to change a thing with that ..

Already have contacted a bank as far as mine does not exist in Fl .. so we will try to get that set up so my direct deposits will begin going there before I even move .. my insurance carrier for medicare won't change much either as I have contacted United Health and am going to try to have that done also before I go ..

My insurance for here and car will remain the same also .. but because there are no contents , it will be less , and the car will change , maybe ...

I thank you all for putting up with me .. and I thank my family for putting up with me .. and most of all I thank God for putting up withh my self doubt that change was ever going to happen for me ..

I think it was all the prayers from you that He heard , as I was starting to doubt that there was any hope .. so I thank you all ...

Will be back on, as I am now trying to just take it all in , and it is a bit overwhelming .. and tiring .. one step, one day at a time , right ?

Hey Adrian,

it sounds like you have everything for your move planned out perfectly ... you deserve to be happy and we're all behind you 100% ... I wish that I could move BUT the questionable state of my marriage has all of my plans on hold.

As you all know, I'd really like to live in London (UK) for at least the 6 month period that you're given automatically without paperwork ... maybe (and it's really a maybe), I'll learn the fate of my 24 year marriage to Audrey ... every time that I tried (in counseling) to get a definitive answer to whether or not we should separate, she would just say "I don't know."

Again, I'm really happy to know that you'll be doing what you have been wanting to do (by moving to Florida).

I'll drop by our virtual neighborhood later ... I hope that everyone is seizing the day, since Spring has sprung for most of us.

Mark, glad you're feeling better. It's bad when ya can't breath, had that once and that was enough.

Hello again friends

Well Rod made it the whole 26 miles in 3hrs 36 min 1sec. His goal was 3 & 47, so he beat what he even thought he could do and was only a little bit short to make it into the boston or NY marathon, so Hopefully he'll run another and beat his last time, to make it.

I'm really proud of him, thats a heck of a long way to run. We walked the mile back to our motel, as I walked to meet him. So I've gotten over a 2 mile walk today and I'm really suffering for it, but I'm to embarassed to mention it to him. giggle
He's showered and is gonna lay down for a while, I put some ice paks on his knees & ankles, so that hopefully will prevent any swelling. I brought him some advil and I'm gonna go get him a couple too.

Adrian; I'm so happy that your plans are coming through and your getting things organized for the trip. I think having some stress knowing you have this move ahead of you is pretty normal, but can completely understand you wanting to get it down and under control. None of us painiacs deal well with even the sligtest anxiety & stress, so I can really relate to your fatigue & most likely extra high pain levels. We'll be here for ya hon!

Well, I better get moving and tend to my sweetie. I found him a movie he likes and I'm gonna just watch him rest.

I'm happy for you Adrian and I'm really thankful that you can supervise paking and jump on a plane and wait for them to arrive. Tell the Bros Thanks for me too. I'll keep you close in prayer dear heart.

Mark, I hope your situation levels out and you can make he necessary decisions in your own time. Your in my prayers always

Hi group ... well my brother had me look up dates and rates for trucks and flights .. that was my only "job" , giggle, for the day ..

Chuck, thank you so much for having faith in me .. and you too Betty .. and Mark, while things are not perfect , they are moving along .. as I am getting a grip on this as best I can ..

Good Evening friends

We had a nice rest of the afternoon here, Rod went and layed out by the pool and I was pooped, so honey & I took a hr 1/2 nap, then got our selves up and struck out to find somewhere good to eat. We decided on Steak tonight and actully stumbled on a restaurant (in remodel mode) did not look too sharp, but the food was excellent. My NY & Rods Primerib were cooked to perfection and we had a super nice dinner.
I'm gonna sleep much better tonight and I can really feel this weekend's activities. I"m just pooped out.
It's been really nice with the highspeed and really easy as soon as I figured it out, so I look forward to doing this more often.

It looks like everyone had a nice weekend and all are doing well. I talk to ya in the am.

Good morning all - hope everyone got a good nights sleep .. today we move my brothers stuff and he will be here on a couple hours so I can pu the truck .. he has to move his stuff out of his place and into storage , or ship to his new place near Monterrey ... he jokes that that is where I should be going .. he is so much the freespirit , but inside I know he is as lonely as I am ..

His story is long and we still try to understand why he and I could never plant roots and have lives like our other brothers do , in way , they are both educated and getting or have phd's , whereas , we are both childless w/ one - two failed major relationships' ...

Combined we are the middle child , but we never were as close growing up as we are now .. life is strange ..

Well, Mark, sorry you have been so out of it lately , and I tell folks that for congestion , get good ol' natural vitamin D , from the sun .. along with the nebulizer , hopefully you will feel better .. the sunny days are always going to be the best days .. and we have to grab them while they come ..

It was beautiful here and I see where most of us got a glimpse or a full day of mr. sun .. he has been away too long .. and with him comes the warmth, which as humans we do need ..

They finally have the fire contained again , after 50 homes were destroyed and while it is only partially contained , we are expecting the winds to pick up again .. lol .. I moved from florida to get away from this stuff , and seems it is prettty much the same everywhere .. so i will get back in the beginning of the season for hurricanes , as well as tornadoes and thunderstorms and fires .. lol .. at least i am used to the seasons there and I won't be cold ... giggle ..
