Chronic Pain

Greetings All,
Hope you've had a good day.
I've been running around trying to make a place
"puppy proof" & putting up bathroom shelves, well helping my wife mostly. She's been off for a couple days and we have to run around and try to get everything done(sinc I don't drive), we went to the grocery and wally world yesterday and I was wupped when we got back. Plus it rained ALL day.
Chasing heidi around has been quite the adventure usually when she rests so do I but,
she seems to be adapting wonder fully.

Happy Friday All,

ARGGH! ... I woke up at 6:00 AM today, so that I could get to my dentist on time ... They had re-scheduled me twice already for a 6 month check-up, so I took one of their cancellations (an early in the day one at that) ... I don't want to get too used to this getting up early stuff, since it throws off all of my plans for the day [LOL] ... well, it does interfere with my sleeping pattern if nothing else ... time to get ready!

I'll check by our virtual neighborhood later ... have a great no/low pain day!

Good morning - well i did it .. i filed my taxes online .. and even got a lowrisk alert about auditing .. lol ..

I used turbotax .. and autofiled , so my paperwork is in order in a file and it was so easy , i cannot believe it .. just hope they give me the money this time .. as when i filed in'06 , i got a letter stating that the IRS was withholding my funds as a "tax credit" , which made me mad .. and I never did know what the heck that meant ?

I will do some research maybe , but then again, i did not file in '06 cause i was pissed .. giggle .. not good year for me ..

I have switched computers and am using my laptop and Vista, it is so much better than XP .. and it is gonna be a whoping 70 out there today .. so i am going to run my errands , i want to get to petsmart , like i said, so i can get the schedule and rates for the vets to give my babies their shots .. the reg. vet is too much $$$ ...

Plus i want to see about a food that isn't as fiberous as what i am feeding them , as my Maxx gets a tummyache from too much poopies inside him .. weird , but no matter how much or litttle i feed him , he poops a lot , not often, just alot for a little weiner dog ...

he also put on too much weight after the neutering and this concerns me too .. so when he sees these vets , we will get him an appropriate food ... i am kinda happy today ..

anyway, chuck , thanks for the update on yourself and hedi, puppie proofing is hard .. but instruct learning should get her in line .. she has to get to know the difference between yes and especially no .. reward positive behavior and discipline the negative .. and i don't mean whacking them , but a stern "no" and "bad" along with a whack on the floor or table with a rolled up paper is a great attention getter .. lol

oh well , off to do housework , hope Mark, your dental appointment went well , and Betty , lookin forward to setting up a writing chat day .. okay ?

Adrian, it sounds like the IRS used your refund as an estimated tax payment, which should have been listed as one of your credits (like withholding shown on a W-2).

I never use electric filing, just like I never used those pre-addressed labels that used to come in the mail with a 1040 booklet with tax forms to fill out. Back in the day, I worked at IRS HQ and know that those labels are coded (usually with letters and numbers that instruct the IRS to audit or not to audit) ... very similar situation with electric filing, since those all automatically get audited.

Well, I'm going to take a nap or something like a nap (rest my eyes ... LOL)

Heidi and I are out enjoying some wonder full
spring like conditions, it's around 70 sunny an
around nice day. My wife took down to dwontown to
get a hair cut and the puppy rode in the back seat
like a champ.
Probably the lowest pain day I've had in a while.
Adrian, I think I'm finally getting used to vista.
It's taken some time. I like the multimedia features and how it handles pics and videos especially.
the online media is cool too, there are several
places one can go and watch tv shows and movies for free.Broadband makes it really cool.
i love being able to surf outside...

we seemed to have posted at the same time before ... so I'd like to say that I'm glad that you're having a great day (all around) ... things seem to be going very well for you and I'm glad for you ... I hope that Betty is also doing well ... I'm always hoping for good things for all of us on this board.

As Adrian mentioned, it would be nice for the 4 of us to have a group meeting using our keyboards, so that we all can connect at the same time ... we just need to coordinate what the best time would be (preferably during a day AND preferably without disrupting everyone's nap time) ... any suggested times that you have in mind would be appreciated. Basically, I don't usually nap BUT I know that Adrian and you take naps plus possibly Betty too ... so, let's all get together again in cyberspace ... how about it?

Hi all - My refund application was accepted and a DD into my checking should be in by 04/04/08 ..hahaha .. i like it , i am going to file this way every year ..

So a tax credit is for what ? How can they keep money that should have been a refund on "expected" tax payments ?

I am not understanding, oh well, it doesn't matter .. as long as I qualify for a refund this year and hopefully a rebate , it would help with mmoving expenses .. I am hoping I am not dreaming .. giggle ...

Hey , did ya ever notice in your personal zone the "Kharma" ratings ? ... I just did yesterday , but late .. so I just checked it out and I have no idea what that is ? but i have a zero out of zero and it says zero is the best ?

well, the petsmart stopped treating dogs , although they still groom, which means i have to find a place that will give them shots .. i wonder , aside from rabirs, distemper .. which other are really necessary ?

anyhow, i spent some $$ , not much on new collars, flea collars, nail clipper and hair brush (for Penny especially) , ear cleaner , dewormer , and a better brand of food and cookies for mature dogs with sensative tummies ... and i got my stuff from da' sto' .. giggle ..

now i have a tremendous headache, neck ache and fatigue .. what the ? it was beautiful out today, and so i took it easy .. got in around 1 pm , and thought , youza ! that is good , since i left at 10 am ..

i think it was when i walked the dogs a couple hours ago, i went out in just a lite jacket, ding dong, and the sun was setting so the wind picked up and it was ccccold .. giggle .. i have to remember up here we get am winds at sunrise and pm winds at sunset .. duh .. only going on two years ..

Pretty nice day here. Pain was pretty low most of the day.
Hung out the deck with the Puppy most of the afternoon.
installed Combat flight simulator so now not only do I get
to fly ww2 war birds but, I get to blow stuff up!!
Adrian, I did my taxes the same way got the cash in about
10 days. It was easy. Course we have a simple return, all

Good thing about that is he should be able to get a good job anywhere...

I apologize for not explaining that I would be a bit scarce the next few days for Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday, Easter or the Resurection of the Lord for me.
I've been in prayer, fasting, abstenance and going through my readings & devotions all day. I watched the Passion on DVD this evening and I'm now watching the First half of Jesus of Nazareth tonight and will finish it tomorrow. It's my second year of not being able to participate in all the functions at church, so as A disabled person I have to create my own time of devotions and prayer by my self here at home.
I was so happy that father was able to come hear my confession & bring communion to me here at home to start my easter time of prayer & such. Last year I had to have my son take me down and I had to wait in line and was in crippling pain by the time I got back to the car, so I am very thank ful for the home visit.

I'm really happy to hear that you all have had pretty nice days, some having some sunshine and others just having some milder weather. It's just nice to be heading into spring anyway.

I would love to get together and chat with any of you at anytime you'd like. Just remember please, that Tuesday is Helen's day and actually this week, I'll have to gladly share my connection with my mattie, as he's home for spring break, but if it's a scheduled beforehand he is patient and understands, so he will be fine with me having it any time I tell him. So let me know friends and I will be here.

Well, I'm going to bed, it's nearly midnight and I better get some rest.

I woke up feelin' okay, usual aches and pains, thank God ... I am going to get boxes today and wonder what y'all think .. some bubble wrap for my collectible art ? and paper for the other stuff ? I was also thinkig maybe peanuts , but I am almost sure my bro has those .. anyway , it is too early to be thinking about this stuff ...

It is suppose to be another nice day , not nearly as warm as yesterday .. but 64 , and mostly sunny , sounds suspicious to me .. heehee ..

So cup o' joe numero uno is just about done .. and I am going for two , never really finish it , but old habits sorta die hard ...

Betty, peace of mind , knowing your son id doing just fine , and hope you have a wonderful , serene Easter , you too Chuck ..

Mark, i will just wish you luck, in no matter what small obsatcles you face , that you learn that they mean nada .. it is the big things in life that need the attention, you are getting there , I know it is hard letting go of pent up frustrations, so we tend to take them out on the smallest of things ... we must grieve for our old selves first, and welcome and embrace the new improved versions .. with that all else should follow , eh ?

I , myself get to celebrate two Easters' .. as in Orthodoxy every so many years we are a month behind , as per the calendar .. so I will pray forand with all my Western cultured friends and celebrate in April , I may even get the nerve to go to the larger Church , down in Albq .. as the midnight walk is so spiritual, you can feel , or I should say, I can feel the presence of my loved ones who have gone there .. it moves me so much , I have a tendency to cry from my soul .. if that makes any sense ..

hi all - well, i think maybe our chats on IM would be better served if we do them earlier , and I am with Chuck , before a nap would be nice .. maybe we can limit to an hour , and if some wnat to do their thing on their own time , that would be cool .. I also think since thsi upcoming week is a holy week , in a sense , that we shoot for thurs. @ 2 pm , which is eastern, 12 for me .. and 11 am for Betty .. and we wait until the visit from Bettys' sone is over so she can concentrate on the iming , since she is os good at it .. giggle .. I think structure is importnt for all of us and , just let me know what you think at your own convenience, we have a week to get it set up ..

one suggestion, if any one of us is unable to make it, just pm us .. so whoever is wiliing can continue without worry , okay ?
