Chronic Pain

Has anyone used the neti pot to relieve the pressure from sinus problems? I just heard about this on Oprah, tried it (using saline solution called Hydrasense here in Canada) and have noticed that the sinus pressure that aggrevates my joints and creates increased pain, is reduced after rinsing my nasal cavity. Sounds gross but I think this might be a good preventative, maintanaence solution to help reduce my pain when my allegry symptoms compound the problem. It also means that I don't take sinus meds along with my neuropathic and anti-inflammatory meds, which is a good thing...

Hi- we worked with a natural MD who recommended the neti pot to pts. with sinus problems- a couple of the nurses bought them and swore by them

Did the natural MD have other suggestions? Did you try it as well? My husband and son have now "cleaned their nasal passages" and are happy to report they feel great as well (and were not symptomatic at all before they tried it).

I really like mine. I say definitely invest in the pot and salt instead of using saline from the store, which can get expensive.
