Hello
This was certainly a very distressing story!
I first head of Mr. Paey over at painaid and was very happy to sign a petition in efforts to help Mr. Paey.
It was not too long ago (within the past year) that I was also notified that Mr. Paey had gotten out of prison and finally won his case.
I was very pleased to find that the American Pain Foundation was all over this issues and had done a great deal in efforts to help him.
I personally find it terrorfying to even consider that I could be arrested for my medications and have to go broke fighting to get out of jail.
I cannot help but think that even though the rest of us, may feel semi safe, it's very important for us to keep up on the legilature and all the letter writing and advocacy for pain patients going on in the US today.
This case was the very reason that I joined in and have been writing the letters to my congressman through pain aid advocacy to keep myself educated on the current issues going on in the legislature regarding medication and medical policy's.
Pain Aid makes it a very easy and assesable process for all of us to become active. I even noticed since being on the site for the past 2 weeks, that Mr. Rowe creates sharepost here asking for others to join them in the fight.
Here's a link to all the articles on pain Aid regarding their efforts in advocacy for Mr. Paey if your interested
