Melinda,
hey,I just found one too.I'm 30- md & mom of 2.I'm calling my doc Monday to schedule an appt for sometime next week- do the same.Do you have a family history of breast cancer? I do- a very close one.All 4 of my dads sisters had different types of cancer that I believe all started in the breast.
I don't know you but I know that you are someone special to someone also,do it for yourself & them.
Mine is on the left breast- I get a lump occasionaly on it with PMS but they go away usually- this one didn't.I tried squeezing it to see if I could break it up but that only left a bruised area on my breast. My breast doesn't hurt or anything & I'm not sick so I'm thinking that maybe it could be a fiberous growth or something similar but not cancerous.I'm going to have it checked out anyway.Do you know how sometimes docs tell women not to drink stuff with caffeine because it can cause fiberous growths in our breasts- that's what I'm hoping it is.I don't drink alot of beverages with caffeine but every now & then I need a little pick-me-up so I drink tea or soda w/it which is bad so about a week & a half ago,I said "no more caffeine" for good.
I will gladly keep in touch with you & everyone else on here & let you all know what the outcome is for my appt next week- do the same please, you're young so it might not be nothing major but still when-in-doubt-check-it-out (:

Melinda,

How are you? I read your note. I think its important to get checked at 25 or any age, 'cause some cancers are there without a lump & some are at stage 0 & you need a professional to really find out. How are you now? I was diagnosed with stage 0 just fr calcifications on rt side only. Please keep in touch. Philippe
