Hi all, I'm reaching out in hopes to get some information to help my mother, who is a 10-year survivor of breast cancer. I'm deeply concerned about her. Her and my father live in Michigan and have been hit very hard by the economic recession we're in. They cannot afford health insurance. As a cancer survivor, my mother is having an extremely hard time finding affordable health insurance. However, of all people, i feel that it's imperative that she acts soon in getting insurance. I was curious if there are any resources out there for low income cancer survivors to help them with paying for health care insurance. I thought perhaps someone out there going through a similar situation might have information on this. I'd appreciate any suggestions! Thanks so much! Laura S
