Greeneyedlady, Tara & Hopless Romantic:

I hope you don't find it rude of me, but I have read and never posted before on this forum. My husband was diagnosed with BP one year ago. I just read all of your conversations and found them so so much more helpful than anything else I have read. I was very sad to see that you are not communicating on the forum anymore but via email. May I encourage you to consider posting your conversations again? I am sure that I was not the only one to receive HOPE and gain understanding that will allow me to be a better wife and support for my BP SO. I don't mean to be intrusive....you actually inspired me to post for the first time.

Hi lovemyhusband. I haven't been active on this site much lately. I did decide to start emailing, as it is more private. I have trying to encourage my BPSO to go online and research more about BP disorder, and I did have a little fear that he could stumble across this site. I'm not trying to be harsh when I speak of him, but this was my place to vent and find support, as I know it is for many people, but I don't know how comfortable the conversation would be between us if he came on here and read everything that I say Smiler Make sense? I would be more than happy to keep in touch with you though Smiler Glad you decided to reach out. The support I've found on this site has helped me soooo much! Take care!! Maybe I'll hear from you soon!

P.S. This is Tara...I changed my display name Smiler

Hi Lovemyhusband,

Wow - thank you so much for your wonderful post! I'm so glad that you wrote in and shared. It's wonderful to know too that you found all of the things that Hopeless Romantic, Peachy, and myself have shared on this site to be so helpful for yourself. That really touches my heart and it also continues to be a great support to me in striving to stay on course with my recovery!

In regards to the three of us coming back to sharing on the forum, as Peachy said, we decided to start emailing as it was more private, especially as the three of us were getting to know each other on a much more personal level.

However, just as Peachy said too, I would be more then happy to keep in touch with you on the forum or what have you if you ever feel the need to continue to share or have questions, whatever it may be.

It's always wonderful to know that there's support out there and you are not alone!!!

You certainly were not intrusive by any means!!! Again - thank you for sharing!!

Hopefully I'll hear from you in the future - please take care - Miss Green!

Hey there lovemyhusband - great to hear from you & so sorry for the delayed response ! Thank you sooo much for your compliments and I'm so glad that we were able to provide some help from our postings on this message board.

I must apologize for doing a disappearing act Smiler. As Ms Green so aptly put it (she's so great with words !) we were getting to know each other on a more personal level and there were also concerns that the privacy of the subjects of our discussion(love interests and families) could be compromised if we were to reveal anymore in our posts - I think we revealed too much already Smiler

Congratulations on making that first post - it is really something , is n't it Smiler You can feel free to share about anything you feel comfortable with - I was also new to the whole sharing thing and I'm soo glad I did it - I have been blessed to meet two incredible loving and caring people in the form of Ms Green and Peachy.

My best advice to people and spouses afflicted by this illness is to never feel like you're alone - there are so many out there who care. So always know that Ms. Green, Peachy and myself are just a post away Smiler

Have a great day and take care - me
