I have take the valproate sodium CR table 300MG since 3/3/2004 400mg a day, and after 17/3/2004 changed to 300mg a day, and 5/1/2005 changed to 1200mg a day.
During all the period, my doctor never test my blood.. until I complain my bella pain... and then the report is like that:

Is any wrong inside?? I heard from another .. if take the sodium .. it needs to test the blood ...how long it will be??
I don't know about this since I am not a doctor. I also take Depakote and my doctor tests twice a year. I am also Diabetic type 2 and get tests several times a year. If you have any doubts, ask the doctor. The medication might need to be adjusted if they think the test results warrant it.
