My nephew is 13 yrs old. He was removed from his home a few times in his life because his mother had an addiction problem. After he was returned home to her last year, he was acting out a bit in school. His Mom spoke with the school Psychologist who referred him to another that prescribed meds for him (strattera and prozac) for his anxiety and behavior in school. Since then, his meds have been changed a number of times and he was just recently dx with bi-polar and put on Seroquel and Trileptal. His behavior since being on all these meds has just spiraled out of control. It's like he doesn't even have a conscience anymore. His language is atrocious!! He's gotten so much worse on the meds that I'm wondering if the doctors even know what they're doing. It's gotten so bad that I'm afraid for my sister and her 3 yr old daughter.
Could the anger and violent outbursts be caused from this medication?
