Has anyone else noticed this getting worse? I was hospitalized for the first time in Dec. Now I'm off work for another medical leave. I want to stay home more. Sometimes being around people frighten me. Yesterday I didn't want to go out of my doctors office receptions room because there were too many people. I have had some pretty frightening depressions, but my anxiety level is going off the deep end.

Does it keep getting worse?

It is progressive yes. Make the best effort you can to try to find the right meds that will work for you, you might have to change and adjust as you go along, but you are going to be glad you tried and hung in there til you found the right combo, it might take some time. Hang in there!

My cycles have changed over time, I used to get a period of hypomania, followed by a deep long suicidal phase, but in recent years, my periods are mixed, I can feel really depressed, with racing thoughts and ideas, but with extreme agitation, confusion, and anger, this can last for a few days then I can feel normal a few days, then it starts over, its mega frustrating!
Not sure if this is worse or not than earlier years, who knows.

Thanks for your responses. I seem to go up and down in the same day and I'm not sure what is normal anymore. I'll have to discuss with my doc next week.
