I want to divorce my husband of 1 year. he was table for 2 years and then recently stopped taking his meds and ran away from home and ended up in an out of state hospital.
While he was in the hospital I found out that his mom is his legal guardian and that is whole entire family has mental illness.
When I would contact his family to try and get information about him they threatened to sue me or beat me up.
He left me with a house payment and all the worries to deal with on my own.
I would like to divorce or annulment immediately.
Does anyone out there have any advice on how to handle this? I’m scared he may get violent.
Thanks!

Regina Brown,Iam a bipolar, and iam not on any meds.Even though your husband may acked like he dont care about you,He does alot.My b/f has stoped talking to me because of my ilness but so far i havent hurt him or even talked to him,my advice is to just hint taking his meds to him and if he starts to acked like he might hurt you then,be cool about it and when he lest expects it leave him dont let him know where you are but at times get someone to cheak on him,its very lickly that he may hurt himself, but after awhile when he is stable he will realize what he has done, maybe it could help him get back on his meds.even though hes bp and it may seem as if he has no feelings he does alot of them.i believe everyone thats bp has a very big heart and when they have a bp mood swing they feel so bad about the way they are and that can sometimes lead to suicide.the smallist thing you say to him about leaving could tear him apart so be carful.
