Bipolar Depression

i see many posters that have left their bp spouses.some had thier spouse leave them.no doubt they all had tough lives with bp.i've endoured 18 years of it. those individuals come here telling others asking for advise to run,get a divorse,get out now.they also say to move on and find someone that can make you happy.many of those people have done just that.yet they are still here being harsh,negative,and bitter.so where's the happiness?many have been out of a bp marriage for years.please spare me the "i have scars" from it.we all do.if i was wanting advise and one told me to leave because i'd be happier,yet this person is still so bitter,i'd have to wonder if leaving really helped.

by all means share your experiences,your thoughts,and advise.but dont tell someone they will be better leaving.as i have seen,many aren't really better off.they are still just as miserable.

is it really fair to condemn every bp marriage just because yours didn't work?

I have been married for 28 years. 28 years of mania, depression, rage, and substance abuse. My wife hung with me, and I am forever thankful. I am stable and our life together right now is wonderful.
