I suggest 72 Hour Hold by Beebe Moore Campbell. This is an awesome book for anyone, Bipolar, or family member.

She also has a book for young children with a parent who is Bipolar titled, "Sometimes Mommy Gets Angry".

I agree with LgLarsen. I just finished reading "72 Hour Hold" by Beebe Moore Campbell last week. I loaned it out from my public library and it is an excellent book to read.

If you love someone that is BiPolar, please read "What goes up must come down" by Judy Eron, I think you can only get it through Amazon. It is geared towards Mania....

I dont know what they charge for membership, but CABF.org has a printable book for kids called The Storm In My Brain. Its illustrated by BP kids, and does a great job of helping kids put the chaos they are often feeling into perspective; let's them know there are others like them who totally understand.

Detour: My Bipolar Road Trip in 4D by Lizzie Simmon, An Unquiet Mind by Kay Redfield Madison, Bipolar Disorder: Insights to Recover by Jane Mountain & Beyond Bipolar: 7 Steps to Wellness by Jane Mountain. I found these helpful, well I haven’t read Beyond Bipolar yet, but I plan to. And Detour was probably more of a good read then helpful. Big Grin

Has anyone read the new book out called "I just want my daughter back " ? It really is a great read especially if you have Bipolar in your family. Very inspiring and had plenty of helpful info in it. I found it on Amazon.com . Check it out.
