I'm new to this group and am looking forward to talking with you. As you all know, it has felt like a long long lonely road... but it's finally nice to know you're all there. Looking forward to chatting with you. By the way, check out my blog on blogspot if you like. Plz respond if you have time too. Thanks and love you all.
hey there. hutto TX here if anyone even knows where that is. 30, married 10 yrs, 3 kids, 2 early onset BP and one Asperger's. I also have PTSD and am a county MHMR patient. Strong family history, with undx'd relatives. Very resourceful, forever trying to learn new ways to cope, researching new treatments and meds, reading everything I can. I am from Boerne, Texas which is just Northwest of San Antonio. I was just diagnosed a month ago.I am now suppicious of a few family members that may be Bipolar as well, now and members gone on before me. I can remember at least 2 sucucde attempts my Grandmother made, she lived with us and helped to raise us. Does it ever get better? My first Appt with my Psychiatrist is Tues afternoon and I am nervous. He is said to be the best in the area that is why I waited so long to go to him because he is busy.I have not been to any support groups , I can not afford the one the Hospital suggested at $75.00 a week. Is anyone aware of any close to San Antonio?
