Bipolar Depression

My BP or BPD wife, has a serious issue with will power.

like she responds to her ex that keeps trying to pull her away from us. she tells him to leave her alone, says please understand that I'm married and dont' want to be with you.

but I say look you've said everything you need to say, stop responding. and she says I feel bad for him and just want him to stop on his own

I tell her he won't and YOU responding sends him a message that you are open to communication with him.

DON'T RESPOND. that sends a message that you mean what you say and have moved on and he's not a part of it. BUT SHE DOESN'T STOP RESPONDING. and I say okay now I'm upset and I feel disrespected, cause you continue to respond after you say what you need to. and now I feel teh only reason you're responding is cause you want to.

but like she has no will power to not respond and I'm getting upset with her.

last night he texts her some craziness and she grabs her phone to start responding and I say why are you responding to that!? ignore it!

but she responds anyway.
