hi i am new here. i am surprised at how many of u have jobs. how? i always feel to weird to be around people. and my moods won't let me keep any kind of schedule. how do u do that? yes i am on meds. i have been 4 a number of years. all they seem to do is slow me down and make me less social. on top of being bi-polar i have survived a number of traumas (gang rape. molestation, physical abuse etc, etc) and have sought counselling but nothing seems to help. the best i have seemed able to do is stay dopey and quiet. hardly a life. do the people u work around see u as different? can they tell? have u told them? i just wonder how uncomfortable it is out there. :*

dont worry your not alone, theres many people that have similar problems. after i started taking meds my friends have told me that ive changed a lot. before i started taking meds i used to be alot more social, active, and hyper. as time has passed ive been taking more and more meds and have been experiencing more symptoms, i guess its the side effects from the meds and because ive been on and off of it many times. i have had like 4 or 5 jobs in the past and havent been able to keep any of them longer then a month. i have a difficult time in school and struggle almost everyday with mood swings, paranoia, nervousness, panic attacks, weird thoughts, etc...

ive take my meds regularly, what really helps me is going to the gym and faith in god. meditation is also a great way to relieve problems. i hope the best for you.
