Hi. I am AJL. I am a 37 year old sahm of 7, married to an arab and living in Qatar. I have had bipolar since I was a teen. At least, as far as I can tell looking back at my life. But I have recently been diagnosed with it (bipolar 1 a week and half ago). I am having a hard time with it sometimes. I seem to be overwhelmed with thoughts of the fact that I have bipolar. Trying to deal with my moods etc. My meds haven't really kicked in yet because I have only been on them for a week. But I wish they would hurry up. My moods have been all over the place. I am in a mixed state a lot and most likely I am a rapid cycler. But I haven't really had a chance to talk to my pdoc about that yet. Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself and say hi.
