What are some songs about depression? They may be favorites of yours, may bring back memories, may be descriptive of the condition, or may help you cope with depression. It doesn't matter, throw them out and let us see them.
How about: Simon and Garfunkle's "Sounds of Silence"
there are some with really suttle hits and some that come right out into your face. LIke Creed''s "what is this life for" and Crossfades "cold" which that is a lot more suttle but if you listen to you lyrics you can pick it out. Then "fade to black" by metallica but since that is harder not as many pay attention to the lyrics as much as the riffs of the guitar. Of course "Last Resort" by Papa Roach which is pretty ovious The guy who did "american pie" Don McClean did one called "Vincent" which is not as famous. That is a few I can come up with. I am sure there is more
I like, "You Can Close Your Eyes," and "Fire and Rain" by James Taylor. "Sitting" by Cat Stevens. "Imagine," by John Lennon. "Live this Life," by Big n Rich. "Funeral for a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding," by Elton John/Bernie Taupin. Best songs that describes bp for me: "I Go to Extremes" and "Angry Young Man" by Billy Joel.
