I am the Marketing Head of an FMCG company and for over a few weeks, I have been feeling dizziness, anxiety, and a dreadful sense of doom which I feel is a result of over exertion. After a recent fight at work with my boss during a marketing campaign the situation, became severe. Stress is destroying my life. I don’t know what to do. Please suggest.
Thanks!

Dear Eudy,

While there is no "quick fix" or simple answer, a thought does come to mind. Sometimes when I am feeling very overwhelmed I take a day off from work (I call it a "mental health day" rather than a regular sick day--as its intended purpose is the same thing).

Is there any way you can call in "sick" and just sleep in, clean the house, clear your mind, get a manicure, take the dog (or the neighbor's dog) for a long walk?

Something is definately going on that is creating a feeling of unease. Sometimes removing ourselves from a situation for a day can bring us some insight on just what the heck is under our skin. And sometimes it is work related and other times it is not, but at least we can get an idea of what it is that has us feeling irritable or upset.

This is just a thought for a quick mini time-out to get clear on what is generating such strong feelings of doom. Not something to be ignorned, but acknowledged. In my opinion, it is good to be mindful like you are.

Best,
Kimberly Tyler

In 4 weeks, I was off of my med's for both .I hav'nt had an any anxiety and my mental health has improved tremendously. My stres level has lowered, my sleep has improved, my energy is high, and I have a great sense of well being. This has truely been a blessing from god for me. Check it at miraclesofmangosteenminerals.com

Eudy,

Learn to counter your thoughts in a tea form from cbt. It will change your life and enable you to cope and eliminate most of your anxiety. I learned them in the book by Sam Obitz which I highly recommend for anyone who suffers from anxiety and stress.

Sorry to hear that you have been through this. What I can suggest is, consult a specialist and try and look for some information online. You can have some good information about Anxiety, Depression and its drugs on http://www.xanax-effects.com The best way to get over anxiety and depression is to take a break from your regular schedule, go out, take good sleep. This helps in clearing the mind and try consulting a specialist who can suggest you as how you can get over your problem. There are various prescription drugs to get over anxiety and depression, but these should only be used in accordance with the instruction of a physician. There is a lot of fake selling of such medicines on internet, so before you can order it online just make sure it is a real pharmacy.
