For general caregiving support books, links and agencies, legal support, as well as Alzheimer's and dementia support, my book site at www.mindingourelders.com is a good source.

One of the best resources for finding help is to go to your local Area Agency on Aging. You can find that by going to www.n4a.org. This agency has resources to assist anyone in finding help in their own area.

For Canadian caregivers, please go to www.canada.gc.ca/azind for caregiver services. Scroll down to "Seniors" and you will find an amazing list.

I wanted to welcome all family caregiver to my on line support group Caring for Elderly Family Members on msn.
I also, have worked as the Director of a senior crime victim assistance and prevention program. I know through experience that one person or a group of people can make a difference in the life of others.
For information on how to make a difference visit www.coalitionforseniorsafety.org.
Hope to meet some new caregivers.

I can vouch for Barbara's on-line support group. I join in whenever I can. There's a lot of discussion and caring support.

Hi Alex -
What a cool site! I'm going to link to it from my own Web site and blog. Sharing memories, keeping memories and donating to a cause for Alzheimer's research is well worth doing. Thanks for passing this on.
Carol
