Hello,
I have read a very interesting article which says that neither acid suppression (antacids, PPIs, H2 blockers) nor acid increasing (Betaine-HCl tablets) provide permanent relief. It says that when you stop taking these medications, symptoms return sometimes at a worse degree. I wanted to share it with anyone who is interested.
