I have been on Prilosec for 2 years & for the most part manage my acid reflux. Can't go off the Prilosec though. But every 3 months or so, I have these "episdoes" that seem totally unrelated to acid or any other flare ups. Out of the blue I will have intense stomach cramps in the the top center of my abdomen which leads to nausea & vomitting & intolerance of food. The cramps usually last 24 hrs & subside completely when ready. Diarrhea, etc is not a factor. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it caused by acid reflux? I am having my gallbladder checked, but my doctor is skeptical it is that.
