If my cough is caused by acid reflux, how long will it normally take for the cough to fade away?
I have been diagnosed with bronchitis 40 plus times in the last 3 years. However, every time they check cell count and do exrays, all is normal. No infection. Clear lungs. I have mild acid reflux symptoms. Because I have multiple sclerosis, it's possible that heartburn feel more like sharp pain rather than a burning. I often choke and my food comes up into my throat/mouth weekly. My doctor agreed to put me on carafate for one month. If my cough is caused by acid reflux, how long will it normally take for the cough to fade away? Thanks, Vicky Lynn |
